Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)

  • 1 cup slices of Goose on the Loose salami

  • 1/4 cup sliced cheese (cheddar or gouda)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • 1 cup fruits of your choice

  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Set your oven to 220°C and let it preheat.

  2. Slice the puff pastry and wrap each piece around a small ball of aluminium foil.

  3. Place the foil-wrapped pastry into a muffin tin, shaping it into cups, and bake for about 20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.

  4. Carefully remove the foil and allow the puff pastry cups to cool completely.

  5. Tuck a slice of salami into each cooled pastry cup.

  6. Add slices of cheese and a mix of fruits to complement the savoury salami.

  7. Finish off with a sprinkle of fresh herbs and serve!
